Right Answer

I think we as human beings prefer to hear the answers we would give if we are in the shoes of the person being asked, ergo, there is never a right answer to any question we ask, except, its exactly what we would answer, maybe this is where national conflicts and brutal wars emanate from.
I believe our minds are shaped in a way where nothing seems correct, except it’s the way we want it to be, that is why we have an idea of how things are to be and how we expect them to be, then if its altered and we don’t have an idea on how to follow up, we just panic, hence, mistakes.
People hardly accept their mistakes, always trying to justify their wrong doing, so if someone gives us the “right answer”, just because it’s not ours, it is definitely wrong? It is commonly known as ego, I just believe we were born with it, your only triumph is tactically defeating it. Personally, I call this the circle of life; have an idea, know it’s wrong, lie to yourself, make a mistake, know the right thing to do, remain stuck in denial, justify your wrong choice, be void of remorse, be pardoned,  try  a new venture.  It’s an indelible gene in humans.  You can fight it, try as much as possible to control it, but it just showcases itself at a point where you are most vulnerable. I believe it can be beaten, hell, if cancer is being knocked out daily, why not this right?  What are we interested in hearing, the truth or what pleases us? They say opinions are like butt-holes, everyone is entitled to one, because yours is bleak doesn’t stop someone else’s from being right.  I’ve said once that ignorance is a disease, being in denial is worse, because there is nothing worse than lying to yourself. Logic is the beginning of wisdom, not the end. Being able to listen, accept and agree even if you know it’s wrong is a very rare gift, it doesn’t mean you aren’t able to stand up for yourself, or you are inferior, it just means you are wiser. Humility is an armor we all desire but only the wise find it. God help us.
