Mi Amor

Gasping and struggling for life,

I looked on to see the face of my beloved,

Thin, deep lines stretched across his face showing sorrow,

Staring earnestly at him, as I still struggled to breathe,

I recalled the past,

How we met-a blessing in disguise,

I remembered laughing hard whenever we were together,

I remembered how crazy yet sweet he was,

I remembered the pillow fights that turned out to be ….well…fantastic

I remembered his kiss, oh! That I long for everyday

I remembered his touch, the Goosebumps it gave me

I never thought I would love like this,

I remembered the annoying moments of our lives,

I didn’t want to let go of those memories

I had to, I relinquished them

Looking at his face with an even harder gaze,

I wished from that moment that those times hadn’t passed away,

I gasped my last words to him

      Te amo ,Mi Amor.
